Materials & Finishes

Material selection is central to every Vittlinter project. We maintain relationships with suppliers across Catalonia, Portugal, and northern Italy to source stone, timber, ceramics, textiles, and hardware that meet both aesthetic and performance requirements.

Stone & Tile

We specify Crema Marfil, Nero Marquina, and locally sourced limestone from quarries in Girona. Encaustic cement tiles from hydraulic press manufacturers in Valencia start at €68/m² installed. Porcelain large-format slabs from Italian suppliers range from €95–€240/m² supply only.

Timber

European oak (FSC-certified) is our default flooring species at €95–€145/m² supply and install. Walnut and ash available for joinery. Reclaimed beam features sourced through partners in Lleida from €180/linear metre.

Textiles & Upholstery

Linen from Belgian mills, wool bouclé from Portuguese weavers, and performance fabrics for commercial use. Typical sofa reupholstery specification: €1,200–€3,800 depending on frame and fabric grade.

Hardware & Lighting

Brass door handles from €45/pair. Custom pendant fixtures from Barcelona metalworkers: €380–€1,650 each. Integrated LED systems specified with electrician coordination; driver units from €125 each.

Sustainability Notes

We prioritise low-VOC paints (A+ classification), water-based finishes, and suppliers with documented chain-of-custody. See our sustainability page for full environmental policy.
